MF 1035 - Front PTO Mid-mount mower

I've owned a MF 1035 for several years. In the manual, it speaks of a dealer-installed option for a front belt-driven PTO. This is presumably to run a mid-mount mower or (I'm guessing) a front snowblower. Does anyone have any experience with this option on this tractor (or close cousin MF 1030) -- how well does it run, how well is it built, etc? Also, does anyone know if this option is still available or if a matching mower or snow blower is made by someone (Woods?) Any help you could provide would be appreciated...

The front pto was used with a MF1019 mower. They were pretty reliable. Neither one is in current production, but you can still get some parts for them. ....
